David Martin put in a good display to keep Chelsea at bay in West Ham's 1-0 win over their London rivals at Stamford Bridge.
The former MK Dons and Millwall keeper joined West Ham in the summer along with Roberto as cover for Lukasz Fabianski, with Adrien completing a free transfer to Liverpool.
Following an injury to Fabianski, Roberto had been second-choice keeper. But after a string of abject performances, Manuell Pellegrini decided to trust Martin between the sticks.
Martin was saved by the post in the first half when Reece James' cross was deflected against the post and behind for a corner.
He then made a decent double stop from Mateo Kovacic and Olivier Giroud before scrambling to prevent Pedro from converting the rebound, much to the delight of the West Ham fans.
The Hammers took the lead just after half-time through Aaron Cresswell, with Chelsea pushing for an equaliser for the rest of the game.
However, Pellegrini's side held onto their lead to claim their first win since the end of September when they beat Manchester United at the London Stadium.
After the game, Martin collapsed to the ground in tears before being met on the edge of his area by a score of his teammates and congratulated.

He then moved into the press box where father Alvin Martin - who played for the Hammers for 19 years - was waiting to embrace him.
The Hammers face Wolves on Wednesday before a home clash against Arsenal next Monday, with Martin looking likely to continue in goal.
