How Victoria Beckham raked in piles of cash from Spice Girls tour despite not appearing

Everyone dreams of being paid big bucks to do absolutely nothing - and for Victoria Beckham, this dream is a reality thanks to the hard work of her former Spice Girls co-stars.

The 45-year-old singer-turned-fashion-designer might as well be called Rich Spice as she is set to rake in tens of thousands of pounds from the current Spice World 2019 Tour - despite not setting foot on stage.

Vicky - who is famously remembered as minimal dance, minimal vocals Posh Spice of the Girl Power pop band - will rake in the funds due to copyright royalties.

And the ‘singer’ is set to bank £30,000 following the Spice Girls’ 13 date UK and Ireland tour - which will add to her £350 million fortune.

“There are no hard feelings at all between the girls, tis is just a business arrangement and canny businesswoman Victoria simple wants to get what she feels she earned from her previous years in the band,” a source told The Sun.

“She gave the other girls her blessing to plough on with the shows without her and has wished them luck on social media,” the source continued.

“Her lawyers feel the sum o money requested is fair in the circumstances,” they added.

Posh wasn’t so gracious towards the hundreds of thousands of Spice Girls’ fans who sapped up tickets to the tour - as she completely snubbed the live music event.

Many die hard fans had secretly hoped Vicky would rock up to one of the London dates as the tour reached its climax for a token appearance.

However, she opted instead to fly to America to attend a wedding - leaving many fans deeply disappointed.

Meanwhile, Scary Spice (AKA Melanie Brown, 44) took a swipe at Vicky during one of the London gigs by changing some of the lyrics to the bands’ debut single, Wannabe.

Instead of singing “Easy V doesn’t come for free, she’s a real lady,” she instead quipped: “As for V… where is she?”

During their final performance of the tour, the Spice Girls hinted they will hit the road again in 2020 with a tour of Australia - while there have been rumours the ladies might even unite for a residency in Las Vegas in the near future.
