The World Cup kicks off on Sunday in one of the most peculiar tournaments to ever take place.
In what is usually a festival of football that everyone around the globe looks forward to, Qatar 2022 has had a muted build up when it comes to the tournament itself.
The build up to the World Cup has centred less around the football and more so on the treatment of migrant workers is the country prepares for the tournament.
But a tournament will take place and it kicks off on Sunday, 20 November with the final a month away.
Tournament hosts Qatar will take on Ecuador in the opening game of the tournament and RTE Two will be showing the game live as well as on the RTE Player.
And EVERY game of the World Cup will be available on RTE as well as the RTE Player.
The BBC and ITV will also broadcast games for the tournament.
