Saturday’s Big Ten matchup between No. 13 Wisconsin (6-1) and No. 3 Ohio State (7-1) has been circled on the calendar for quite some time because of the implications it can not only have on the conference but the College Football Playoff. The Badgers last win against the Buckeyes came in 2010.

The Badgers’ 24-23 shocking loss to Illinois last weekend came on a last-second field goal, marking the biggest upset in the Big Ten over the last few decades. Jack Coan threw for 264 yards and one touchdown, while Jonathan Taylor had 132 yards on 28 carries.
Ohio State has had ample time to rest coming off of a bye week, which will make them all the more prepared to take on Wisconsin. The Buckeyes trounced Northwestern, 52-3, in their last game on Oct. 18. Quarterback Justin Fields was incredibly efficient, going 18-for-23 with four touchdowns.
Both teams have potent offenses this season. Wisconsin is averaging 39.7 points per game, while Ohio State is at 49.7 ppg. Keep an eye on Taylor, who’s been an absolute beast this season. He is the third leading rusher in the country with 957 yards. Not far behind him is J.K. Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins, who is the fourth leading rusher in the nation with 947 yards.
However, don’t underestimate the Wisconsin defense. It will be the toughest the Buckeyes have seen so far this season. The Badgers are allowing 7.6 points per game. Yet, Ohio State is the first Big Ten team since 1973 to start the season with seven straight wins of 20 or more points.
