Final prep: West Ham - (Getty Images)

West Ham take on Lille in their final pre-season friendly before the Premier League kicks off.

Graham Potter’s Hammers have had a solid preparation campaign, winning three of their four games ahead of the new campaign.

The Irons defeated Swiss side Grasshoppers first, before heading to the United States for the Summer Series.

There, they were initially beaten 2-1 by Manchester United, before beating Everton and Bournemouth.

Captain Jarrod Bowen has been amongst the goals, while German striker Niclas Fullkrug has forged a dangerous partnership with the forward.

Lucas Paqueta has also featured after he was cleared of spot-fixing charges.

West Ham will play Sunderland away in their Premier League curtain-raiser on Saturday, August 16.

Now, they face Ligue 1 side Lille, who boast some standout names from the continent.

They have former Arsenal and Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud on their books after signing the Frenchman from LAFC, and they also have Nabil Bentaleb, formerly of Tottenham, also in their midfield ranks.

Thomas Meunier, the ex-Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain right-back, and Kylian Mbappe’s brother Ethan are also in Bruno Genesio’s squad.
