How to watch tonight's James Vincent McMorrow gig in Iveagh Gardens online

Let's face it, the vast majority of people who tried to score tickets to tonight's James Vincent McMorrow and Sorcha Richardson gig couldn't get a sniff of any.

There is some consolation, however, after it was confirmed that the gig will be streamed live this evening.

Starting at 7 pm, the entire gig will be available online for those of us who couldn't get a ticket.

There will be 500 people in attendance at the gig, which is being organised by the National Concert Hall.

Sorcha Richardson will take to the stage at 7pm while JVM will perform at 8pm. It will be shown in full on the NCH Youtube channel.

McMorrow said: "Everyone's putting in so much time and effort because we realise what an opportunity this is to show and remind everyone of what it feels like to be at live music in Ireland again."

Because tonight's event is the first test event to take place in the country, those lucky enough to have scored tickets will have to follow strict guidelines.

They include separating groups of people into pods of four, masks must be worn for the entire show and all ticket holders must provide contact information in case a covid case/cluster is detected.

The link for the show can be found here.
