The Match: Champions with Charity will air on Sunday afternoon in what should be a welcome respite for all of us desperate for sports and/or light banter.
The match pits Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning vs. Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady in a golf match that will raise $10 million for coronavirus relief.
All four will be mic’ed up as they play Tiger Woods’ home course, Medalist Golf Club, in Hobe Sound, Florida, and it should be a breezy, fun afternoon (with hopefully some decent golf). My colleague broke down Tom and Peyton’s game — they might actually be pretty decent.

Rules of The Match
Via my colleague, Nick Schwartz:
“On the front nine, the teams will be playing four-ball, or best ball. Each golfer will play his own ball, and the team will card the lowest of the two scores on a given hole. Brady and Manning will also be given a total of three handicap strokes throughout the front nine.
“On the back nine, the format will shift to a modified alternate shot. All four players will tee off, each team will pick one of those shots to play from, and then partners will alternate shots.”
