How to watch the European Under-21 Championship as four Liverpool transfer targets in action

Liverpool starlets and potential summer targets are all in action across the next month as the European Under-21 Championship kick off in Georgia and Romania.

Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott are looking to help the young Three Lions move past their previous failings in the competition. During the last two Euros, England haven't made it out of the group stage as they managed just one win in Slovenia and Hungary in 2021 after exiting the competition without a win in 2019.

Also from a Liverpool perspective, there will be a keen eye on talents around the continent.. As the Reds are monitoring France's Khephren Thuram and Manu Kone, Gabri Veiga of Spain, and Netherlands' Ryan Gravenberch.

Is the European Under-21 Championship on TV?

Action from the European Under-21 Championship will not be televised after no broadcasters struck a deal to show the action from the competition in Georgia and Romania.

Sky Sports covered the tournament in 2021 but are said to have not bid for the rights, according to reports. Meanwhile, the BBC have not stepped up to secure the rights, with the tournament set to get underway on Wednesday, June 21.

How to watch the European Under-21 Championship

Despite not being televised, fans in the UK can still tune into every minute of every match via the official UEFA website.

To watch the action unfold on UEFA.tv, fans will have to sign up and create an account. After doing that, they can watch every match for free.

When are Liverpool players involved in the European Under-21 Championship?

Both Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott could play key roles for Lee Carsley's England side. Jones will be looking to add to his 15 U21 caps while Elliott is eyeing a move into double figures for England.

Thursday, June 22: Czech Republic vs England, 5pm kick-off.

Sunday, June 25: England vs Israel, 5pm kick-off

Wednesday, June 28: England vs Germany, 5pm kick-off.

Quarter-Final: July 1/July 2

Semi-Final: July 5

When are Liverpool transfer targets Khephren Thuram, Manu Kone, Ryan Gravenberch and Gabri Veiga in European Under-21 Championship action?

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is looking to overhaul his midfield department this summer, with Alexis Mac Allister becoming the first piece in the puzzle.

But at least one more midfielder is expected to join Mac Allister at Anfield with French duo Thuram and Kone, Dutchman Gravenberch and Spaniard Veiga also on the club's shortlist. They will all be in action at the European Under-21 Championship - along with Micky van de Ven, the VfL Wolfsburg defender who plays alongside Gravenberch for the Netherlands and who has also been liked with a move to Liverpool.
