"The Darkest Web" - Dates, time, channel

• WATCH FREE — BBC Four / BBC iPlayer (U.K.)
• Watch anywhere — try NordVPN 100% risk free

This feature-length film looks at the problem from the side of the good guys, the U.S. Special Agents charged with ingratiating themselves with these offenders to win their trust before learning enough about their operation to bust it apart.

To do that, they must expose themselves to emotionally devastating cases and equate their task as "like going undercover with the mob." They are after the people who make and distribute these images but there is often a small child at risk and a race against time to save them.

Resources are minimal, cases often extremely complicated and the quarry sophisticated and organised enough to leave little or no digital footprint. International borders and jurisdictions are also a hinderance but the gravity of the situation drives the agents on.

Read on for the other guests and to find out how to watch "The Darkest Web" online, on TV and from anywhere.

Thanks to the wonders of a VPN (Virtual Private Network), "The Darkest Web" should be available to Brits no matter where they are. The software allows your devices to appear to be back in your home country regardless of where in the world you find yourself. Our favorite is NordVPN.

Using a VPN is incredibly simple.

1. Install the VPN of your choice. As we've said, NordVPN is our favorite.
