Tens of thousands of runners will hit the city streets Sunday morning for the 2019 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. One of the most prominent marathons in the world, the competition attracts top athletes from around the world along with the many locals who will be covering the 26.2-mile course.

NBC Chicago will be providing live coverage of the event starting at 7 a.m. CT online and on television. The network will wrap up TV coverage at 11 a.m., but a camera set up at the finish line will be live streamed until 3 p.m.

For Spanish-language viewers, Telemundo Chicago will also be covering the race for the same times as NBC.

The course, which starts in Grant Park, will be open for 6.5 hours. Runners will start in seven different groups with start times ranging from 7:20 a.m. to 8:35 a.m. Olympic gold medalist Mo Farah and Brigid Kosgei, winner of the 2019 London Marathon, won the elite competitions last year.
