The Jacksonville Jaguars will be wrapping up their preseason Thursday night against the Atlanta Falcons and in all likelihood fans will witness the reserves take the field. While trying to make a last impression on the staff, they will also be tasked with preventing the Jags from going winless during the preseason.
One thing that is a certainty is that fans will likely get to see backup quarterback Gardner Minshew and will definitely see No. 3 quarterback Alex McGough. Minshew will unquestionably make the team, but one last dance on the field before the regular season could definitely help the young rookie, who is a work in progress. The same definitely applies for McGough, who will either be the No. 3 or make the practice squad.
Additionally, the Jags must settle a few bubble spots on their final 53-man roster like finding out who will be their No. 5 cornerback, No. 6 receiver and perhaps Week 4 could help the Jags crown their starting right guard between A.J. Cann and Will Richardson.
