The Seattle Seahawks are already 3-0 against AFC North opponents this season and hope to complete a sweep of the division with a win over the Baltimore Ravens Week 7 at CenturyLink Field.
In addition, a victory would mark just the second time in franchise history Seattle has opened the year with a 6-1 record.
Sunday also marks the homecoming for former Seahawks safety Earl Thomas, who signed with the Ravens as a free agent this offseason.
“Earl was a great football player in the years that he was with us,” coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday. “We loved what he did. His uniqueness, his style of play. The way he practices and focuses was somewhat unmatchable. We just couldn’t stay together forever. We couldn’t figure out how to do that. We wish him the best and we look forward to it. I always like playing the guys we know.”
