How to watch Southampton vs Man City TV channel and live stream details for Carabao Cup clash

Manchester City are expected to field a rotated side in Wednesday’s League Cup quarter-final bout at Southampton.

Manchester United await on Saturday before Tottenham the following Thursday and so Pep Guardiola may choose to rest a number of personnel while also ensuring others get a run out to attain their fitness level ahead of the weekend.

The Blues won the competition four times in a row before Liverpool’s triumph last season. Jurgen Klopp’s men are out of this term’s competition after succumbing to City last month meaning they are now favourites to reclaim the cup.

Southampton may also choose to rotate a handful of stars for the tie as they try to claw themselves out of the Premier League relegation zone against fellow strugglers Everton this weekend. Guardiola’s men are backed to win at St Mary’s and potentially set up a semi-final with United.

Newcastle are also through after beating Leicester while the winner of Wolves against Nottingham Forest will also go into the hat.
