How to watch Serbia v Scotland free on Sky Sports: TV channel showing the game and stream details

Is the wait finally over? After 22-years of crushing national team disappointment, Steve Clarke and his Scotland players have the chance to make some history.

Not even the most pessimistic Tartan Army foot-soldier could have predicted at the conclusion of the 1998 World Cup that we as a country would go on to spend more than two decades in the footballing wilderness – watching major tournament after major tournament pass us by.

However now is our chance, with 90-minutes in Serbia separating this current crop of Scotland players from next summer's European Championships. It's going to be a tough match, no doubt, but this is unquestionably the closest Scotland have come to a major finals in a generation.

Recognising the magnitude of the game, and with fans still shutout from stadiums due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sky Sports announced that it will be free-to-air on television.

So how do I watch all the action unfold for free?

Well, even if you don't have a Sky Sports subscription, the Sky One, Sky Sports Football and Pick channels will be open to all come Thursday evening.

Fans can also watch via NowTV and Sky Go, while the highlights will be on the Sky Sports website and You Tube channels afterwards.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm on Thursday, 10 November. Coverage begins at 7pm.

Sky Sports managing director Rob Webster previously said: "We know how significant these fixtures could be for fans of Scotland and Northern Ireland. With two sides on the brink of qualifying for a major tournament, we felt it was the right moment in these exceptional and unique circumstances to make the games more widely available.

"Sky Sports is a proud partner to many sports, both in the UK and around the world, and we have strived to stand alongside sport in unprecedented circumstances this year."
