Since losing their first game 33-27 against the Saints in week 3, the Seahawks have rattled off two straight wins including last weekend’s contest against the Rams that went down to the wire. Los Angeles had a chance to win it but missed a 44 yard field goal with 11 seconds. As a result, Seattle came away with a 30-29 victory. Russell Wilson totaled 300 yards of offense including four touchdowns through the air. Chris Carson had one of his best rushing games of the year with 27 carries for 118 yards. Carson scored a receiving touchdown as well.

Seattle’s defense ranks fourth in rushing yards allowed (80 YPG) and did a good job of limiting Todd Gurley to 51 yards on 15 carries. Jared Goff threw for 395 yards and one touchdown but was also intercepted late in the 4th quarter by Tedric Thompson. K.J. Wright led Seattle’s defense with ten tackles while Mychal Kendricks was second with seven total stops.

After putting up 40 points in Baltimore, Cleveland’s offense was starting to look as dominant as many expected it could be at the beginning of the year. However, that talk was silenced after their embarrassing performance on Monday Night Football, a 31-3 road loss to the 49ers. Baker Mayfield completed an abysmal 8 of 22 passes for 100 yards and threw two interceptions. Nick Chubb may have been the lone bright spot with 16 carries for 87 yards to bring his total to 485, fourth best in the NFL. The offense totaled a mere 180 yards and converted on just one of 11 third down attempts.

The Browns offense was nonexistent and the defense wasn’t much better. San Francisco racked up 446 yards of total offense with 275 yards coming from their ground game. That’s not encouraging when they have to face a versatile Russell Wilson and the Seahawks’ running back Chris Carson this week. Joe Schobert notched 11 tackles to bring his total to 54, fourth-best in the NFL. Myles Garrett was relatively quiet with two tackles and one sack. Garrett has seven sacks on the season, the second most in the league.
