Now the challenge is to find some consistency and win consecutive games for the first time this season against one of three unbeaten sides in the league.

Real Madrid needed to show its fans that the Champions League loss to PSG was just a bad night and that it was still good enough to fight for titles this season. They most certainly did that with a win on the road at Sevilla. It marked Madrid’s first victory at the Pizjuán in four years. Real didn’t suffer on defense and was sharp and clinical with the ball. Eden Hazard is slowly but surely finding his feet with Los Blancos.
Now Madrid returns home to the Santiago Bernabéu to face Osasuna, who haven’t lost this season even though they have just one win and four draws. Osasuna has already taken points from champions Barcelona this season, and its solid defense and brutal counter-attack will be a tough test for anyone. Real will have to play their best stuff to win this one, but if they make it three league wins in a row and go solo at the top of the table, then it may be hard to stop them. It’s taken a while, but Zinedine Zidane is starting to figure things out.
