The last time we saw Real Madrid the team defeated Galatasaray in a key Champions League match. The unexpected rest over the weekend was actually good for a team still struggling with injuries and lineup continuity. Zinedine Zidane is finally starting to see consistency on defense. The challenge now is to make all of their attacking talents work together and win games without any problems. Eden Hazard is yet to find his form with his new team, but someone of his ability shouldn’t struggle for much longer.
Facing the worst team in La Liga is a great opportunity for Hazard and the offense to score goals and gain confidence. Despite some preseason excitement, Leganés hasn’t done much to start the season. They have been unable to defend and are struggling to find any consistent attacking prowess. Their goal at the Bernabéu is to try and pull off a major upset, but for a team in last place in the table, a simple 0-0 draw qualifies as a giant result against the Madrid giants. Real comes into this one as massive favorites, but the team has already been shocked at home by huge underdogs this season.
