How to watch Rangers take on Aberdeen as Steven Gerrard's side begin Premiership campaign

The new Scottish Premiership season finally begins today, and Rangers have a tricky opening day fixture to contend with.

Steven Gerrard's side face Aberdeen, who they beat once and drew with twice last season.

Rangers have calked up some impressive results during pre-season, with wins over Nice and Lyon seeing them lift the Veolia Trophy in France.

Alfredo Morelos could play a part today despite intense speculation linking him with a move to Ligue 1 side Lille, but Jermain Defoe misses out through injury.

Derek McInnes' side, meanwhile, are forced to contend with the loss of Sam Cosgrove and Curtis Main through injury.

Here's how to watch today's action.

WHEN DOES THE GAME KICK OFF?

Gerrard's men will kick off at 12.30pm this afternoon (Saturday August 1).

WHERE IS IT TAKING PLACE?

Joe Aribo, Ianis Hagi, and the rest of the Rangers side will be in action at Pittodrie.

WHAT CHANNEL IS IT ON AND CAN IT BE STREAMED?

The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports, with the programme kicking off at 11.30am.

The match will be shown on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event. You can sign up to Sky TV here.

You can stream the game live for £9.99 with a Now TV Sports Pass, and the match is also available to stream on the Sky Go app.

Aberdeen season ticket holders in the UK can watch the game for free on RedTV, and RedTV subscribers outside the UK and Ireland can also stream the game live.
