The Rams, the reigning NFC Champions, have picked up right where they left off last season. The team is off to a 2-0 start with a 30-27 win at Carolina in Week 1 and a 27-9 victory against the Saints at home in Week 2. Jared Goff threw for 283 yards and one touchdown, while Todd Gurley added 63 yards and a rushing touchdown. Cooper Kupp led the team in receiving with 120 yards and Brandin Cooks scored the lone touchdown of the group. Both had catches of over 50 yards and showed why they are key pieces of this potent offense.

Defensively, the Rams are ranked fifth in total defense, allowing just 293.5 yards per game. The unit held Saints running back Alvin Kamara to 45 yards rushing and every receiver except Michael Thomas (89 yards) to under 50 yards. Corey Littleton had eight tackles and Eric Weddle added seven more. Clay Matthews and Michael Brockers each provided sacks and John Johnson came away with the lone interception in the game.

After a 43-13 blowout at home in Week 1 at the hands of the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland bounced back in Week 2. The offense put up nearly 400 yards to beat the New York Jets 43-13. Baker Mayfield completed 19 of 35 passes for 325 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Nick Chubb did his part in the run game with 62 yards and one touchdown. Odell Beckham Jr., who was traded from the Giants in the offseason, hauled in six catches for 161 yards and one touchdown.

Holding any team to three points is a fantastic feat and the Browns defense should build on that in Week 3. Myles Garrett had three sacks last week and should be in Phillip Rivers’ face throughout the game. Linebacker Joe Schobert was all over the place with 13 tackles, while Denzel Ward added seven more.
