How to watch Premier League matches for free on BBC, Sky Sports and Amazon

There are 92 games remaining in the Premier League season, and all of them will be shown on TV.

In even better news for fans who can’t go and watch their favourite teams, 33 of those matches will be shown for free.

All of the remaining games of the 2019/20 season will be broadcast live on Sky Sports, BT Sport, BBC or Amazon Prime.

Typically only a select few are broadcast live at weekends but, following the enforced three-month break and with no crowds allowed, all the remaining games will be televised.

The traditional rule that prevents live football being shown between 2.45pm and 5.15pm on Saturdays in the UK is also being relaxed for the remainder of the season.

What channels will the Premier League be on?

There are currently plans to show the remaining Premier League games across four channels.

Sky Sports

64 of the remaining 92 matches will be broadcast by Sky Sports. Of those, 25 of them will be free to watch on Sky’s Pick channel, available on Freeview.

A full list of its free-to-air games has not yet been confirmed, however it’s understood that the Merseyside derby on the weekend of June 20/21 will be one of Sky's free matches.

The other 39 fixtures are on Sky’s traditional paid-for platform.

BT Sport

BT will be showing 20 games between now and the end of the season. They will only be available to BT Sport customers, in the usual way.

BBC

The BBC will show its first live Premier League matches this season as the broadcaster has rights to show four games.

Bournemouth v Crystal Palace on June 20/21 is expected to be the first, although the Beeb’s allocation has yet to be confirmed.

Amazon

The final four games will be shown on Amazon.

The technology and e-commerce giant first showed Premier League matches on Boxing Day, allowing Amazon Prime subscribers to watch all 10 games.

This time you won’t need Prime membership to watch its fixtures as Amazon has said it will make these matches free to fans.
