Four Liverpool players are in the running for the PFA Player of the Year award on Tuesday evening.
The award ceremony usually takes place at the end of the season but the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the football calendar means the award winners for the 2019/20 campaign will be announced just days before the new one begins.
It means there could be some added spice in the early rounds of fixtures as some players may feel they have a point to prove if they fail to pick up any gongs at the awards.
Fans eager to whet their appetite for the new campaign may well want to tune in to find out who wins what and the ceremony will be available to watch online live and for free.
Supporters can do so by tuning in on the PFA’s Facebook page.
An event page for the award ceremony has been set up, which promises the first ever virtual PFA Awards.
The ceremony starts at 7pm on Tuesday and can be watched online with Facebook Live.
Four Liverpool players have been nominated for the main PFA Player of the Year award, with last year’s winner Virgil Van Dijk being joined by Trent Alexander-Arnold,
