The first week of the new Champions League season is filled with very exciting matchups, and perhaps none better than in Paris between the all-time champions and a team once again under pressure to win the whole thing.

Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are once again meeting in the European Cup, but it’s hard to remember a time when both teams were filled with so many doubts ahead of the new Champions League season. PSG had a crazy summer with plenty of signings, but a Neymar saga dominated the headlines and ended with the Brazilian staying in France even though he didn’t want to. PSG fans are now clear that they don’t like him, and Neymar responded by winning the game with a bicycle kick in his season debut last weekend.
Neymar has proven he’s still capable of leading a team to European success, which is something Real Madrid may need right now. With Eden Hazard still not firing on all cylinders, very inconsistent defense and Zinedine Zidane under pressure to prove his worth as a coach without Cristiano Ronaldo in his squad, Madrid must show at the Parc des Princes that they’re still the team that won three Champions League titles in a row.
