Colorado is fresh off a rare loss and a pretty big one at that, losing to the Anaheim Ducks, 5-2. With a few days off between their last game and this one, there’s some hope the Avalanche are coming in fresh and back to their usual selves.
The Panthers are also coming off a big loss themselves, dropping a 7-2 beating at the hands of the Vancouver Canucks. It put a stop to what had been eight consecutive games earning points. With this being Florida’s last chance to redeem their earlier loss to Colorado this season, look for the Panthers to come out strong here.
