How to watch Super Bowl 2020 on UK TV- Kansas City Chiefs vs San Francisco 49ers

Next month, the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida will host the 54th Super Bowl in NFL history.

It will be contested between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.

The Chiefs booked their place after an impressive display over the Titans in AFC Championship where the score ended 35-24.

Over in the NFC, the 49ers eased their way through with a convincing 37-20 victory over the Packers.

Next month's Super Bowl, which takes place on February marks what will be the 50th Super Bowl in the modern era of the National Football League and the 11th in Miami Gardens.

Is it on UK TV?

The 2020 Super Bowl will be broadcast on BBC and Sky Sports, who are also showing live coverage of the play-offs.

Coverage on BBC starts on BBC 2 for half an hour's build-up. It will then switch the BBC One at 23.25 through until 4am.

The most extensive NFL coverage can be found through the NFL Game Pass which is available both online and as an app.

According to the early 'spread', the Chiefs are considered Super Bowl favourites - but only just.

Only what is described by Forbes as 'razor-thin' margins give the Chiefs a slight advantage, so it's unlikely there will be much to separate the two teams.

To catch up with some of the action that has taken place so far, you can also catch the BBC's weekly highlights programme 'The NFL Show' on BBC iPlayer.

In the other 'event' of the evening, the Super Bowl half-time show will this year feature music stars Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.
