How to watch Norwich vs Liverpool on TV with channel, live stream and team news

Liverpool travel to Carrow Road this weekend to kickstart the new season against newly-promoted Norwich City.

Reds fans won't need reminding that the last time they faced the Canaries on the opening day was the 2019/20 season when they would go on to lift the Premier League title.

That same season, Norwich were relegated - but it hasn't taken Daniel Farke long to navigate his side back into the top flight. They ran away with the Championship last season, finishing the campaign with 97 points.

Carrow Road will, of course, forever be remembered as the destination for one of the defining matches of the Jurgen Klopp era: a late 5-4 winner courtesy of Adam Lallana in January 2016.

How to watch Norwich vs Liverpool on UK TV

Liverpool's trip to Norfolk is the evening match on Saturday, August 14.

Coverage of the match starts at 5pm on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event. The match kicks off at 5.30pm.

The game will be shown live on Sky Sports. If you're not a Sky Sports subscriber, click here to upgrade or check out the latest packages.

What is the early Norwich vs Liverpool team news

All eyes will be on who starts at centre-back for Liverpool, with Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk fresh off the back of a full pre-season. The signs currently seem to point to Joel Matip starting alongside new £35m summer signing Ibrahima Konate.

In midfield, Klopp has something of a dilemma following the recent knock Curtis Jones sustained. Thiago and Jordan Henderson joined pre-season late following their involvement in the European Championship.

A trio of Fabinho, James Milner and Naby Keita is expected, although some are speculating on whether Klopp may find a way to fit in youngster Harvey Elliott.

For Norwich, Farke will be disappointed to have lost Argentinian Emiliano Buendia. Norwich have, however, replaced him with two exciting signings of their own: Milot Rashica and hot prospect Christos Tzolis.
