The highly anticipated Star Wars spin-off series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, was officially released on streaming platform Disney+ on Friday morning.
Scottish star Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen have reprised their roles as Obi-Wan Kenobi and his former apprentice Anakin Skywalker, as the Galactic Empire ascends and Kenobi is forced into hiding from its relentless henchmen.

What is Obi-Wan Kenobi about?
The six-part limited series finds Obi-Wan a broken man, living in exile on Tatooine as he keeps a distant watch over a certain Skywalker.
Yet Jedi continue to be targeted as traitors of the Empire, and Obi-Wan has to dodge bounty hunters and a sinister group called the Inquisitorius.
The latter are the show’s central villains, played by Moses Ingram, Sung Kang, and – baddest bad of them all – Rupert Friend, whose Grand Inquisitor character wields a wicked spinning double-bladed lightsaber.

You can watch Obi-Wan Kenobi online on Disney+ globally from Friday May 27.
The first two episodes dropped simultaneously at 8am on Friday morning, and the next release date for episode three is June 1.
