The next Minecraft Live has already been confirmed, too, so here's absolutely everything you need to know about when it airs, how you can watch it, and what you should expect from the next Minecraft event.
How can I watch Minecraft Live (Sept. 2025)?

When does Minecraft Live (Sept. 2025) air?
The next Minecraft Live will officially air on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. CEST.
Right now, we don't have confirmation that there will be a community-led pre-show before the main event, but precedent suggests that there absolutely will be in the 15-30 minutes leading up to the show.
We do know that there will be a "Dig Deep After Show" following the event, where Minecraft developers and special guests will go hands-on with upcoming Minecraft features.
Where can I watch Minecraft Live (Sept. 2025)?
The Minecraft Live of Sept. 2025 will grace many of the same spaces as previous Minecraft Lives, so it should be familiar to long-time viewers.

Mojang Studios also typically releases translated recordings immediately after the show with subtitles in many languages, but again, we don't have exact information for supported languages yet.
Finally, Mojang Studios often lets major Minecraft community members co-stream Minecraft Live to offer live translations in their native language, but — once again — we don't know exactly which creators will be co-streaming this Minecraft Live.
Will there be rewards for tuning into Minecraft Live?
Mojang has historically offered in-game cosmetic rewards for watching Minecraft Live, often through Twitch. There is an available watch reward for this event, but it's actually through TikTok Live.
Starting on Sept. 27, you can tune into any TikTok Minecraft streamer (not just those watching the event) that has Game Rewards enabled. After 3 minutes of watch time, you can hit the "Game Reward" icon to get a code.

What is Minecraft Live?
Minecraft Live is the modern version of the Minecon from years prior, an in-person Minecraft-themed convention that was retired thanks to the dire effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Instead, Mojang Studios hosts livestreamed events, during which it reveals news and announcements for the next few months of Minecraft. The show has historically been a major, exciting affair for the Minecraft community, attracting a massive surge of traffic and online discussion, but has become slightly more modest.
Minecraft Live first began in 2020, and returned every year following to give players insight into what to expect from the future of the growing Minecraft universe.
Considering Minecraft is one of the best Xbox games, and continues to be one of the best-selling video games of all time, there's almost always a lot to cover during Minecraft Live. It's a can't-miss event for the Minecraft community, and Windows Central always covers all the news that comes out of it.
What can I expect from Minecraft Live (Sept. 2025)?
Newer Minecraft Live shows are shorter and more focused on the near future than past events, which on one hand makes them less exciting for fans — but on the other helps Mojang set clear expectations and ensure transparent communication.
As for the latest Minecraft Live show, we obviously don't know exactly what to expect, but we can make some educated guesses based on the current state of the franchise, teasers, and recent pre-release snapshots and betas.
For one, I can tell you what we won't see. No, there still won't be a Minecraft Live Mob Vote; Mojang Studios has done away with the Mob Vote entirely following years of community frustration with so many potentially awesome mobs vanishing into Minecraft purgatory.
We also won't get any news for Minecraft Earth, Minecraft Dungeons, or Minecraft Legends. Mojang's augmented reality mobile game experiment was shut down years ago, its family-friendly action-RPG spin-off enjoyed years of healthy support before peacefully retiring, and its unique action-strategy spin-off struggled to win over fans before eventually throwing in the towel.
On a related note, I'm not really expecting Mojang Studios to announce a new spin-off game for the Minecraft universe yet, as much as I'd love to see it.
So, what can we expect? The only absolute guarantee is The Copper Age, which is already confirmed as the next Minecraft content update, or "game drop."
The upcoming release will add a ton of new copper-focused features to the game, including helpful Copper Golems and their copper chests for automatic item sorting, a full set of copper armor, weapons, and tools, new decorative copper blocks like lanterns, torches, chains, and bars, the new redstone shelves for quick hotbar swapping, and other changes and improvements.
Mojang will definitely dive into all of these features and go hands-on during this Minecraft Live, but we're also expecting a release date announcement. The Copper Age is nearing completion, with all of its confirmed features already being tested by players, so it should release during or shortly after the Minecraft Live event.
While Mojang has yet to tease much about it, we're also going to learn about the next Minecraft game drop that comes after The Copper Age. We can't do much more than speculate about what the fourth (and possibly final) Minecraft update of 2025 will include, but we'll all learn about it together during this Minecraft Live.
There could be other surprises, too. Could Mojang give us a sneak peek at the next next Minecraft update? Could we finally learn more about the mysterious Minecraft Netflix animated series currently in production? Could the Minecraft creators share their early plans for 2026? It's all possible, but don't be disappointed if it doesn't happen.
