"John, Gregg, I've cooked up a sticky, unsavory hash that's not going to go down well but I've decided to serve regardless. Enjoy." We hope you're hungry, because the BBC has opted to air "MasterChef UK" season 21 as normal, despite parting ways with Gregg Wallace for inappropriate behavior and John Torode for using racist language.

Here's how to watch "MasterChef UK" season 21 online from anywhere with a VPN — and potentially for free.

The accusations against Wallace, spanning a 19-year period between 2005 and 2024, were first reported in November 2024. An independent report commissioned by the show's producer Banijay substantiated 45 incidents, three relating to Wallace being in a state of undress, 16 in which he made sexually explicit comments, and one where he initiated unwelcome physical contact. He was dropped by the BBC in July 2025.

In July 2025, Torode revealed that he had been accused of using racist language in an incident in 2018. Banijay and the BBC subsequently decided against renewing his contract. Wallace was replaced by Irish chef Anna Haugh, a regular guest judge on "MasterChef UK" during the filming of season 21, but the decision to press on with it has raised further questions of BBC bosses' opaque implementation of the corporation's “impartial” editorial policy.

Over eight weeks, "MasterChef" moulds some of the finest home cooks in the country into budding restaurateurs. The first five weeks are dedicated to heats and quarter-finals, in which the contenders run the gauntlet of the Basic to Brilliant and Mystery Box challenges, before serving a two-course menu to their esteemed predecessors, including past champions Brin Pirathapan, Thomas Frake, Irini Tzortzoglou, Jane Devonshire, Natalie Coleman, Shelina Permalloo, Tim Anderson and Steven Wallis.

Read on as we explain how to watch "MasterChef UK" season 21 online from anywhere, including free options.
