How to watch Manchester United vs Burnley — TV channel, live stream details and kick-off time

Manchester United are ready to welcome Burnley to Old Trafford on Thursday in their first Premier League home game since December 5.

United were due to host Brighton on December 18 but an outbreak of Covid-19 at the club saw that fixture, and their previous scheduled match away at Brentford four days earlier, postponed.

Before that, United's last competitive game had been the draw 1-1 with Young Boys in their final Champions League group game.

The visit of Burnley will only be Ralf Rangnick ’s second home league game after earning a 1-0 debut win over Crystal Palace and comes quick on the heels of Monday night's visit to Newcastle, which ended in a draw.

United are unbeaten in their last three home games in all competitions and will be confident of extending this run as the club’s top-four quest continues.

What is the early Man Utd vs Burnley team news?

Raphael Varane and Edinson Cavani could both feature in the game after they made their comebacks against Newcastle United on Monday evening.

The duo had been sidelined for almost two months with respective hamstring and tendon injuries.

Victor Lindelof was missing from the trip to St James’ Park after testing positive for Covid-19 while Paul Pogba will also not be available for the clash with Burnley with his thigh injury expected to keep him out until early January. Bruno Fernandes will be suspended for the fixture after a booking against Newcastle.

This fixture will be the Clarets’ first since December 12, having had their last four matches called off either due to snow or positive Covid-19 cases.

They will have Maxwell Cornet available after it was announced that players set to feature in the African Cup of Nations are now allowed to travel as late as January 3, instead of last Monday. He is expected to play after recovering from a thigh injury.
