How to watch Manchester United vs Aston Villa with TV and live stream details

Manchester United clash with Aston Villa for the second time in five days when the two sides meet in the EFL cup at Old Trafford on Thursday night.

The Reds lost 3-1 to Villa in the Premier League at the weekend, so Erik ten Hag's men will be looking to take revenge and progress to the next round of the cup at the Midlands club's expense.

United exited the competition at the third round stage last season after losing 1-0 at home to West Ham United. The fixture on Thursday night is likely to see Ten Hag make a number of changes to his side as the Reds prepare for their final domestic game against Fulham on Sunday before the season pauses for the World Cup.

The match will be shown on Sky Sports in the UK, with the game also available to live stream on Sky Go. Build up will start from 7pm.

Early team news

Reds trio Antony, Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes were all missing for Sunday's defeat at Villa Park, but the latter is expected to return for the EFL Cup tie after serving his one-match suspension in the Premier League.

It remains to be seen if the Brazilian attacker or England international will feature on Thursday night, with the pair having been sidelined through injuries.

Philippe Coutinho and Diego Carlos are both out injured for Villa, but Unai Emery is likely to name a strong side for the clash.
