Manchester City will be looking to bounce back from two defeats in the space of a week when they take on Club Brugge on Wednesday.
Pep Guardiola’s side were knocked out of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday against West Ham United and followed that up with a 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
City head into Wednesday’s game one point behind Paris Saint-Germain, two points ahead of Club Brugge, and victory will not only open up a five-point gap but almost guarantee qualification to the Champions League knockout stages.
The last time the two sides met, Pep Guardiola’s side ran out comfortable 5-1 winners with Cole Palmer, Joao Cancelo, Kyle Walker and a Riyad Mahrez, twice, finding the back of the net.
