How to Watch Lokomotiv Moscow vs. Juventus, Champions League Live Stream, Schedule, TV Channel, Start Time

Lokomotiv Moscow came close to upsetting Juventus in its maiden meeting a fortnight ago, and the two teams battle again on Wednesday as Champions League Group D heats up. Paulo Dybala scored twice in three minutes when the Bianconeri came from behind to beat Lokomotiv 2-1 in Turin, but a 3,000-kilometer trip east has the potential for a different result.

Juventus are joint-leaders in Group D alongside Atletico Madrid as things stand, but a win over Maurizio Sarri’s side mid-week would lift Lokomotiv within one point of the Italians.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored once in three Champions League outings so far—his second slow start in as many European campaigns with Juve—but his brilliance will be needed at the RZD Arena.

The Bianconeri remain unbeaten this season and lead Serie A by one point despite failing to look their usually confident selves under Sarri. Matthijs de Ligt’s goal gave his side a narrow 1-0 win in its derby clash at Torino on Saturday, but Juve drew 1-1 at Lecce in its previous away game.

The Turin giants might already be clear of the competition in Group D had they not lost a two-goal lead away to Atletico in September when they drew 2-2 at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Juventus has drawn three games this season—two in Serie A and once against Atleti—all of which have come away from home.  The team has won 11 games this season, but only two of those wins have come by more than a one-goal margin.

Lokomotiv is third in the Russian Premier League and are a threat this term, though the Russians have hit a rough patch in what seems the least convenient moment. Yuri Semin’s side upset Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 away from home on Matchday 1, but its momentum has stagnated after recent back-to-back defeats, having failed to win in three.

Aaron Ramsey recently returned from injury and could push for his first Juventus start since September in Moscow. Juan Cuadrado looks to be Sarri’s right wing-back of choice, while Rodrigo Bentancur has had a strong run in the XI and started its last three league games. Lokomotiv striker Eder has three goals in his last five league appearances following an injury, but the Portuguese will look to notch his first European goal of the season against Juve.
