Liverpool will take on Manchester City this afternoon in the Community Shield match at Leicester City's King Power Stadium and the first piece of silverware is up for grabs.
The Reds kick start their Premier League season in one week when they take on Fulham at Craven Cottage, but Jurgen Klopp will want a good showing from his side against the Premier League champions.
Liverpool took on RB Salzburg in their last pre-season match on Tuesday and came away with a 1-0 loss in Austria. Reds fans will be hoping to catch a glimpse of new signings Fabio Carvalho and Darwin Nunez today.

Diogo Jota and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been ruled out with hamstring injuries and Alisson Becker will not be risked in goal after returning to training ahead of the first Premier League match of the season next week.
Adrian will be starting in goal for the Reds with Caoimhin Kelleher also out with an injury.
