Liverpool supporters will bid an emotional farewell to Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson as they host Brentford in their final match of the Premier League season.
Salah has enjoyed a highly decorated nine years on Merseyside, with 257 goals and 122 assists in 441 appearances across all competitions to date, and will hope to end his time with the club on a high as the Bees visit Anfield.
The same is true of Robertson, who in his time with the club has lifted two Premier League titles and one Champions League, among various other honours.
And the Reds do not have much to play for beyond pride in their final home match of the season. That has been unusually tricky to come by this season, though, as Liverpool have made a hash of their Premier League title defence and struggled in cup competitions.
Brentford, meanwhile, can keep their dwindling European hopes alive with a win, though they will be reliant on results elsewhere - namely the Stadium of Light and the AmEx Community Stadium - if they are to head to the continent for the first time in the club’s history next season.
