After a three-week gap, Liverpool are back in Premier League action after having two games postponed due to the death of the Queen and then the international break.
Liverpool have a hectic schedule in October with the World Cup starting next month and it grants Jurgen Klopp 's side with a huge opportunity to put a winning run together and start to put themselves into title contention.
Brighton will visit Anfield today in the hope of making a strong start under new boss Roberto De Zerbi after Graham Potter left the club for Chelsea. The visitors come into the game in good form as they sit fourth in the Premier League table.

Early team news
Andy Robertson will miss the match for Liverpool after picking up a knee injury in the loss at Napoli, so Kostas Tsimikas is set to start at left-back.
Ibrahima Konate and Calvin Ramsay returned to training after picking up injuries during pre-season, but neither have trained enough to make the bench for the Reds against Brighton.
Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez were not seen in Liverpool training after intense matches in the international break with Klopp saying both missing out was a precaution.
