How to watch Kellie Harrington v Maiva Hamadouche: Stream info and start time for the fight to book Olympics spot

Kellie Harrington is just one fight away from booking her ticket to this summer's Tokyo Olympics.

But the Dubliner faces stiff opposition in Paris this evening in the shape of professional world boxing champion Maiva Hamadouche.

World championship gold medallist Harrington is gunning for one of six Olympics spots available in the women's 60kg division at this week's rescheduled European qualifiers.

And the 31-year-old started out in great style with a convincing win over Poland’s Aneta Rygielska to reach the quarter-finals.

But in her way now is the reigning IBF super featherweight pro champion Hamadouche. The French woman is a ferocious puncher with a record of 22-1 (18KOs) in the pro ranks, with her sole defeat coming at the hands of Delfine Persoon in 2015.

All is not lost, though, if Harrington were to lose this fight as she could still qualify for Tokyo in a box-off with another of the losing quarter-finalists.

The fight will be able to stream on the Olympics official website, with the evening's schedule getting underway at 5pm (Irish time). Harrington and Hamadouche are scheduled to be the fourth contest to take place in Ring B.

Harrington's Irish colleague Michaela Walsh, who turns 28 on Saturday, effectively booked her Olympics spot yesteday by beating European and EU bronze medallist Mona Mestiaen 4-1.

Due to Walsh's world ranking points, even if she loses to next opponent Irma Testa and then a box-off, she is almost certain of passage to her first Olympics.

Yesterday also saw Aoife Walsh beat Viktoryia Kebikava, welterweight Aidan Walsh easily saw off the challenge of Wahid Hambli and light heavyweight Emmet Brennan beat Uke Smajli.

All three are also one win away from Tokyo.

So far the only Irish boxer guaranteed to be at the Games is Brendan Irvine, although Kurt Walker's world ranking points will also be enough for him to make it.
