Things could not have started any better for Inter Milan this season. New manager Antonio Conte took charge, changed the formation to his favorite 3-5-2 and made Inter look like a force in Serie A so far, with three wins and no goals conceded in the first three games. Romelu Lukaku is scoring goals, Stefano Sensi is dominating midfield, and a three-man defense with Diego Godín, Milan Skriniar and Stefan De Vrij is going to be hard to break down for anyone.
With Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund facing off in the other game in this group, this is a huge chance for Inter to win big against the weakest team in Group F and get some valuable goal differential. The Italians will face Barça, then Dortmund twice in their next three Champions League games, so a win at home on Tuesday is crucial to give them the points and the confidence needed when the toughest matches arrive. Slavia Prague will look for the miracle of winning at least a point in the Group of Death, and maybe they can take advantage if Inter takes this for granted a little bit, thinking they can win easily.
