How to watch Hearts v Inverness: TV channel, live stream details and kick off time

After seven long months Hearts return to competitive action at Tynecastle this evening.

A lot has changed since their last proper outing with Robbie Neilson replacing Daniel Stendel as boss, a host of new players coming into the club and a relegation confirmed through an SPFL vote.

However this evening's Betfred Cup group A clash against Inverness Caley perhaps represents the start of a new chapter for the club.

Neilson, and his freshly-appointed coaching staff, want to shake off the negativity of last season and enjoy a successful campaign at Tynecastle.

Number one priority for Hearts has to be automatic promotion, but the cup competitions will also be important to the returning boss.

So how can supporters watch tonight's match?

The match is being shown live on Premier Sports 1, with the coverage getting underway at 7.15pm. Kick-off will be half an hour later. Supporters can also stream the game through the Premier Player.

Chris Sutton and Michael Stewart will be among the punditry team on the evening.
