Football will be back on TV Tuesday night with the return of HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” which will cover the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers this season. Although no games will be shown and padded practices have yet to take place, it’ll still be exciting to see players running around on the field and donning their teams’ new uniforms.
The season premiere will air tonight only on HBO, but there are a couple of different ways to watch, depending on which HBO plan you have.

HBO discontinued its HBO Go smartphone and smart TV apps on July 31, but you can still stream the premiere on mobile and TV devices. If you subscribe to HBO through your cable provider, you can sign in with the HBO Max app.
If you only subscribe to HBO Max, you can stream the first episode live through the app on your mobile or smart TV device.
