How to watch Equatorial Guinea vs Sudan: TV channel and live stream for AFCON today

Both Equatorial Guinea and Sudan are in the hunt for their first points of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations today as they face off in Casablanca.

Joined in their group by Algeria and Burkina Faso, it was always going to be a big ask for Equatorial Guinea or Sudan to qualify, and both made slow starts to their campaigns.

Sudan were rather humbled by Algeria last week, losing by a comprehensive three goals to nil.

Riyadh Mahrez bagged a brace on the day, but Sudan did not help themselves - they played much of the match with ten men after Salah Adel’s 39th-minute sending off.

Equatorial Guinea made a better account of themselves as they were beaten 2-1 by Burkina Faso, but they were also a man down for long stretches after Basilio Ndong was dismissed shortly after half-time.

It was all late action in that match, though. The opener did not come until Marvin Anieboh put Guinea ahead in the 85th minute, but Burkina Faso struck back in the 95th and 98th minutes to turn the tie around.

There is plenty on the line here, though, as today’s loser will be all but eliminated from the competition.
