The Premier League returns this weekend after the first international break of the season with what promises to be a fantastic London Derby between a team in desperate need of internal peace and three points on the pitch and one of the best Premier League sides in 2019.

The transfer window was difficult for Tottenham Hotspur, who failed to both sign and sell some key members of the squad. The ongoing Christian Eriksen saga also created a lot of unrest in the dressing room, something manager Mauricio Pochettino was not afraid to make public. On the pitch things aren’t great either: just one win and five points from their first four games. The team’s last match was a 2-2 draw vs. Arsenal in which Spurs led by two goals at the Emirates and couldn’t finish the job.
Now they need to find a way to beat one of the best teams in the Premier League this calendar year. Crystal Palace has already beat a Top 6 team away from home this season and will look to pull off another upset on the road. Only Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal have more wins and points than Crystal Palace in 2019, and Roy Hodgson’s side has already beat Manchester United away from home this season. Palace knows what they are: solid at the back and dangerous on the counter. That will be the plan to get a result at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
