The most prolific attack in the Premier League will take on its leakiest defense on Saturday, as defending champions Manchester City travel to face Norwich City at Carrow Road. The Canaries are at risk of sinking to the bottom of England’s top flight, while the Citizens eye a chance to leapfrog leaders Liverpool into first place.

Norwich clinched a convincing, 3-1, win over Newcastle in Week 2, but the adrenaline of that first top-flight triumph has now worn off, with Daniel Farke’s men losing back-to-back matches.
Farke will hope Saturday’s guests are suffering from jet lag or some other minor ailment following the international break, with a host of City’s stars in top form for their countries of late.
Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne turned in a couple of masterful performances as Belgium beat San Marino and Scotland (both 4-0). England star Raheem Sterling helped beat Bulgaria and Kosovo, scoring two goals and recording three assists.
Norwich frontman Teemu Pukki also scored in each of Finland’s Euro 2020 qualifiers (both penalties), a 1-0 winner against Greece and a consolatory strike in a 2-1 loss to Italy.
Pukki has five Premier League goals to his name this season and sits one-off current top scorer Sergio Aguero, who is under pressure to stay fit amid Gabriel Jesus’ injury concerns. Aymeric Laporte and Leroy Sane are both long term absentees. Manchester City midfielder Patrick Roberts is currently on loan at Norwich but won’t be eligible to play against his parent club.
