England continue their European Championship preparations with an international friendly against the Republic of Ireland tonight.
With the delayed Euros approaching next summer, Gareth Southgate will want to see a reaction from the Three Lions following last month’s defeat to Denmark.
That result came off the back of beating the world’s number one-ranked side Belgium, so Southgate needs more consistency during November.
Thursday night’s friendly at Wembley will also had the added spice of the prospect of Declan Rice, Jack Grealish and Michael Keane facing Ireland for the first time since they switched their allegiance to England.
