Fans will be hoping for more of the same today as England look to break a knockout stage hoodoo against Germany, with Die Mannschaft coming out on top against the Three Lions in 2010, 1996 and 1990.
Gareth Southgate's side go into the game after finishing as winners of Group D despite some average performances. Joachim's Low's team, meanwhile, came second in this tournament's 'Group of Death' after losing to France and beating Portugal before a final 2-2 draw against Hungary saw them through by the skin of their teeth.
