September’s round of qualifiers for next year’s European Championships continues on Saturday with the country that will host the tournament final trying to take a big step towards qualification against a team struggling at both ends and looking for one of the biggest upsets of the whole weekend.

After finishing third in the inaugural Nations League during the summer, England turns its attention back to the European Qualifiers, where they sit very comfortably in first place after two big wins against the Czech Republic and Montenegro, scoring 10 goals and just one conceded. The Three Lions are big favorites against Bulgaria, and with the front three of Jadon Sancho, Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane making a hot start to their club seasons, it’s hard to see anything but a big England win.
Bulgaria has not helped its cause with their start to the qualifiers, with just two points from four games and clear issues both with and without the ball. They will defend for their lives at Wembley and hope for a 0-0 draw, which would be one of the most shocking results of the competition so far.
