The Dutch Grand Prix marks the start of the second half of the 2025 Formula 1 season and presents Lando Norris with the chance to continue his impressive run and make it four wins from his last five races.

The British driver trails McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri by just nine points in the Drivers' Championship after securing victories in Austria, England and Hungary, but will start behind the Australian after Piastri claimed pole position in Saturday's qualifying session.

Home favorite Max Verstappen will start from third, while Racing Bulls rookie Isack Hadjar produced a stunning display to qualify in fourth place. Mercedes' George Russell took fifth, ahead of the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton.

Dutch Grand Prix 2025 circuit

The 2025 Dutch Grand Prix takes place over 72 laps of the 4.259-kilometer Circuit Zandvoort on Sunday, August 31.

Having returned to the F1 schedule in 2021 after a 25-year absence, the race will be held at Circuit Zandvoort for the 35th time. Drivers can expect a party atmosphere as each running of the race sees fans decked out in orange and making plenty of noise.

Max Verstappen will also receive plenty of vocal support, with thousands of his supporters flocking to the track to cheer him on.

When is the next race?

The next Formula 1 race after the Dutch GP is the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. It takes place on Sunday, September 7.

Who won the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix?

McLaren's Lando Norris claimed a dominant victory despite losing the lead early in the race to Red Bull's Max Verstappen. The Brit showed blistering pace to pass the Dutch driver on lap 18 before romping to victory.
