How to Watch Chiefs vs. Lions, NFL Live Stream, Schedule, TV Channel, Start Time

In a battle of two unbeaten teams, the Kansas City Chiefs travel to Detroit for a showdown with the Lions Sunday afternoon. The Chiefs lead the all-time series 8-5 and have the best offense in the NFL, but the Lions have home-field advantage and have found ways to win in their last two games.

The Chiefs have one of the most prolific offenses in the NFL this season. Kansas City currently ranks second in total offense (487 YPG) and first in passing (392.3 YPG). That success is in large part due to the reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes, who leads the league in passing yards (1,195) and touchdowns (10) this season. The star quarterback threw for 374 yards and three scores in a battle with Lamar Jackson for a 33-28 victory over the Ravens. Running backs Darrel Williams and LeSean McCoy nearly had 200 yards of total offense and a pair of touchdowns. Mecole Hardman led all receivers with two catches for 97 yards and a touchdown.

Defensively, the Chiefs kept Lamar Jackson out of the equation and held him to 267 yards passing, 46 yards rushing, and one touchdown. They will need to get better in their rush defense as Mark Ingram Jr. torched them for 103 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Kendall Fuller and Anthony Hitchens both had eight tackles for the defense, which also totaled one and a half sacks.

It may not be pretty, but the Lions have found a way to win each and every week. Week 1 started with a 27-27 tie and was followed up with a 13-10 victory over the Chargers in Their most recent victory was a 27-24 win against the Eagles in Philadelphia. Down 3-0 in the first quarter, Jamal Agnew returned the ensuing kickoff 100 yards for the score. Matthew Stafford completed 18 of 32 passes for 201 yards and a touchdown. The running game was nonexistent, as Kerryon Johnson carried 20 times for only 36 yards and one touchdown. Marvin Jones topped the 100-yard mark (101) in receiving and added another score.

Detroit’s defense wasn’t fantastic. The truth of the matter is that Philadelphia hurt themselves with turnovers and costly penalties. Trey Flowers had eight tackles and one sack, while Christian Jones and Damon Harrison each notched six tackles as well as a sack. This unit will have a tough task Sunday afternoon trying to contain Patrick Mahomes and this Chiefs lethal offense.
