How to watch Champions League semi final between AC Milan and Inter Milan - live stream details and kick off

All eyes will be on the San Siro tonight as AC Milan and Inter Milan will lock horns in the Champions League for the first time since 2004/5.

The tie will be of particualr interest to Manchester City fans who saw their side earn a valiant 1-1 draw away at Real Madrid in the prestigious competition's other semi final first leg last night.

Prediciting the outcome of who City or Madrid will face in the Champions League final is not an easy task though as the two Serie A sides, who between them have won the European Cup a staggering ten times, have been evenly matched this season and are currently separated by just two points in Italy's top flight with Inter sitting in fourth and Milan in fifth.

Inter fought off Benfica in the quarter finals to claim their place in the semi final while Milan conquered Serie A champions Napoli in what was viewed as a big upset. History suggests that Milan will have the edge, having never lost a Champions League tie between the two, but Inter are currently viewed as favourites to clinch a place in the final which will take place at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul on Saturday, June 10.

An italian presence in the final of the Champions League has been long overdue and managers, Simone Inzaghi and Stefano Pioli will be hoping it's their side who can bring European glory back to Italy this season. With a a few ex Premier League players also on show in the form of Olivier Giroud, Romelu Lukaku and Divock Origi, the all Italian match up has the makings of a classic.

When and where is AC Milan vs Inter Milan?

The first leg of the semi final is due to kick off at 8pm BST on Wednesday, May 10 and will take place at the legendary San Siro, the home of both AC Milan and Inter Milan.
