Should Bernardo play, as is expected, it will be his 30th appearance for Portugal's under-21s.
Reaching such a number would mean he becomes the most capped player for the age group, moving him one ahead of Everton and Valencia midfielder Manuel Fernandes.
In other news, Benjamin Nygren is reportedly expected to join Celtic.
The 23-year-old scored 16 goals in 32 games for Danish top-flight outfit Nordsjaelland last season.
The Parkhead club have been linked with a move for Nygren over the past 48 hours, and now well-placed Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri claims that the player has chosen to join Celtic over Anderlecht following talks.
The Swede is now expected to complete his move to Glasgow's east end.
