How to watch Canadian Grand Prix 2026: live stream the F1 race from anywhere – Lights Out!

F1 drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes at the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix.

The rain hasn't materialised yet, but the meteorologists say it's definitely coming. From a viewing perspective wet-weather races are always superb, but the additional focus they demand from the drivers could have either a defusing or an escalating effect at what's so far been a hot-tempered Canadian GP weekend.

Toto Wolff had to step in twice after George Russell raised the ire of his teammate Kimi Antonelli, Max Verstappen once again threatened to quit F1 and even Charles Leclerc saw red. That was just yesterday. Lights-out is scheduled for 9pm BST / 4pm ET.

Canadian Grand Prix 2026 Schedule

(All times BST)

9pm – Canadian Grand Prix

Canadian Grand Prix 2026 Preview

Russell has faced heavy criticism in recent weeks for being comprehensively outperformed by his teenage teammate, so there was no way he was going to oblige when Antonelli attempted an audacious overtake during the Sprint. Russell held his line and then some, steering the championship leader towards the grass.

From then on in things got messy for the Italian, who went even bigger with his next attempt, only to end up in the grass once more. Russell raced to victory and Lando Norris capitalised on Antonelli's second ill-fated lunge to ride home in second.

Russell then secured his third straight Canadian Grand Prix pole – his fourth, if you count yesterday's Sprint – with Antonelli securing a front-row lockout for Mercedes, ahead of McLaren pair Norris and Oscar Piastri. Best of frenemies Lewis Hamilton and Verstappen start side-by-side behind them.

Speed, however, is only one part of the equation this weekend. Circuit Gilles Villeneuve is a tricky customer at the best of times, with its heavy-braking chicanes and dastardly walls lurking in wait to penalise the slightest bit of understeer. However, in the rain and with two fewer practice sessions than usual, chaos could ensue.

Below we'll show you how to watch Canadian Grand Prix live streams from anywhere in the world.
